However, after optimizing all the settings, after I record a track, and go to save it, I am now receiving a message that the original file was corrupted and it automatically creates a second file to use when reopening.When I go to Control Panel and Sounds, under Recording, I have Line 6 speakers and SPDIF as the only items working, w Line 6 set on Default.On the Playback, I only have Line 6 speakers, SPDIF and Soundblaster speakers, w Soundblaster set as default.
I have all of the above set on 24 bit, 48000 sampling rate, which is what I am recording at. The question is: Is this the best setup for recording with UX2. If you want to take advantage of the UX2 audio interface features you must choose the UX2 as your default sound device for your computer as well as Cubase, in which case you must disable your soundblaster driver.
